Much learning does not teach understanding.You cannot teach a man anything; you can only help him to find it within himself.A school is a place through which you have to pass before entering life, but where the teaching proper does not prepare you for life.If you want to see what children can do, you must stop giving them things.Parents can only give good advice or put them on the right paths, but the final forming of a person’s character lies in their own hands.The most important part of teaching is to teach what it is to know.Learn as much as you can while you are young, since life becomes too busy later.Children must be taught how to think, not what to think.
